Jessica graduated from Creighton University, located in Omaha, Nebraska, with her doctorate of occupational therapy in 2013 and a bachelors of science in finance and management in 2010. She started her career working in homecare covering the Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, IA area. She is passionate about hand therapy, lymphedema, wheelchairs and adaptive equipment, home modification and universal access, stroke and neurorehab, and ergonomics. In 2018, she became certified in lymphedema therapy.
She is a native to Nebraska, grew up on a grain and livestock farm, showed horses, and played many sports. Met her husband in the Omaha area while he was stationed at Offutt AFB and with military orders, they relocated to New Mexico in 2020. They have 1 daughter and 2 furbabies, a Papillon and a Great Dane.
