Balanced Physical Therapy + Wellness is proud to announce the upcoming opening of our newest location: the Lymphedema + Neurological Rehabilitation Center. Set to open in Fall 2025, this thoughtfully designed clinic physical therapy clinic in Albuquerque will be located at 8010 Palomas Ave., Suite C and will offer neurological rehabilitation, lymphedema treatment, physical therapy (PT), and occupational therapy (OT) services—all under one roof.

This new clinic is designed for patients living with neurological conditions and lymphatic disorders who require specialized, hands-on therapy from highly trained professionals. We treat a range of conditions, including:

Purpose-Built for Physical and Occupational Therapy
This clinic has been intentionally designed with physical and occupational therapy in mind, creating an environment that supports patients through every phase of recovery. The space includes functional treatment areas such as a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, allowing patients to work on meaningful, real-world mobility and self-care tasks in a safe and supervised setting.
In addition, the clinic features 8 private treatment rooms specifically for lymphedema + lipedema care, providing a calm, confidential environment where patients can receive personalized one-on-one therapy, compression therapy, and manual lymphatic drainage from experienced specialists.
Whether the goal is to manage chronic swelling through lymphatic therapy or regain strength, coordination, and independence after a neurological event, our facility offers the specialized tools and expert clinical guidance needed to support each step of recovery.
What Services Will Be Offered?
At the Balanced Lymphedema + Neurological Rehabilitation Center, we will offer:
Physical Therapy (PT)
Our licensed physical therapists specialize in neurological physical therapy, balance training, gait rehabilitation, and manual lymphatic drainage. Treatment plans are customized for each individual to restore strength, mobility, and function.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
Occupational therapy services focus on helping patients regain independence with daily activities through fine motor training, cognitive rehabilitation, adaptive strategies, and functional mobility retraining.
COMING SOON: Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
We are preparing to offer speech therapy services in the near future, making this one of the only clinics in Albuquerque to offer PT, OT, and SLP services in one integrated setting. Speech-language pathologists will support patients with swallowing issues, cognitive-communication disorders, and more.
Whole-Person, Team-Based Care
What makes our new clinic different isn’t just our therapy offerings, it’s how we deliver them. At this location, our PTs, OTs, and future SLPs will collaborate to provide coordinated, whole-person rehabilitation. Our care model ensures:

Now Scheduling for FALL 2025
As renovations start to wrap up, we're now accepting new and returning BPT+W patients for appointments starting this FALL 2025. This clinic will also serve as the new home for our existing lymphatic therapy program, currently based at our North Tramway location.
